- Ransomware and malicious action. Files encrypted or destroyed, including by someone inside, can sync straight through to the cloud copy.
- Retention gaps and departures. An offboarded user, a removed licence or a misconfigured policy can take data with it.
- Point in time recovery. Native tools make it hard to restore a mailbox or site to exactly how it looked before an incident.
