We supply Dynatrace as an official UK partner, and we size the Dynatrace Platform Subscription around how you will actually use it. We spent our careers on the vendor side building enterprise software quotes, so we know which questions get you the right commitment.
Official Dynatrace partner, and an independent adviser
Dynatrace is sold as the Dynatrace Platform Subscription, usually shortened to DPS. You agree a minimum annual spend commitment at the platform level, typically for one to three years, and then consume that commitment as you use the platform, priced against a rate card that forms part of your order. Dynatrace says any platform capability can be used in any quantity at any time, so you are not locked into a fixed list of modules.
Two details matter more than most buyers expect. Dynatrace does not charge penalty style overages: usage beyond the commitment carries on at the same rates as your prepaid consumption, billed monthly. And the unit price falls as the commitment rises. Together these make sizing the commitment the main commercial decision, because commit too much and you pay for capacity you never use, commit too little and you miss the volume price you could have had.
Dynatrace publishes its list rate card; your own rate card forms part of your order.
Licensing and renewals
We model consumption from your estate: hosts and their memory, Kubernetes, log volumes and retention, user sessions and synthetic tests. The commitment then reflects how you will run the platform, not a round number.
As an official Dynatrace partner we quote and supply DPS directly, for a first purchase or at renewal, so the licensing and the work that makes it pay back sit with one team.
We start well before the renewal date with a review of what you consumed against what you committed, so the next term is sized on evidence and agreed with time to spare.
We explain your rate card in plain terms for finance and procurement, so the people who approve the spend can see what drives it.
What you get
We are an independent UK consultancy and an official Dynatrace partner. Our people spent decades on the vendor side, so we know how enterprise platforms are sold, sized and deployed, and we use that on your side of the table.
We will not publish or guess Dynatrace prices, because your rate card is specific to your agreement. Dynatrace publishes its list rate card, and we will walk you through it, but the number that matters is the one on your order.

Questions
DPS is how Dynatrace is licensed. You make a minimum annual spend commitment at the platform level, typically for one to three years, and consume it based on actual usage priced against your rate card. Any platform capability can be used in any quantity, so you are not tied to a fixed list of modules.
Dynatrace does not charge penalty style overages. Usage beyond your commitment continues on demand at the same rates as your prepaid consumption and is billed monthly. The cost of committing too low is mainly that you miss the lower unit price a larger commitment would have earned.
Yes. C4C Group is an official Dynatrace partner in the UK, so we can quote and supply the Dynatrace Platform Subscription directly, for a new purchase or a renewal, alongside implementation, migration and optimisation.
Dynatrace publishes its list rate card on its website, priced by unit such as memory hours for full stack monitoring, gigabytes for logs and sessions for real user monitoring. Your own rate card forms part of your order. We do not publish prices, but we will walk you through what each unit means for your estate.
Well before the renewal date. Reviewing a full term of consumption against the commitment takes time, and the answer may mean a larger or smaller commitment, a longer term, or a change in what you monitor. Starting early keeps every option open.
